 For a wheel manufacturer, Promation 
provided robotic wheel stacking. The entire installation could be viewed in advance using VR glasses. Thanks to virtual reality, the desired end result could be demonstrated in detail to the customer beforehand.

In order to use robotics to stack wheels, a robot cell first had to be built. This robot cell fully automatically takes wheels off a conveyor belt and stacks them on a pallet. The robot will automatically adjust itself to the size of the wheels, which it receives through the network. The robot will prepare a pallet on which the wheels will then be stacked. It will unstack pallets, which are stacked with the chocks, and turn them over if necessary.

Thanks to the deployment of robotics for wheel stacking, a burdensome operation is eliminated for the operators of the machine. This ensures optimal working conditions and a safer process.
